@Hunley besides the traditional methods, Sidewalk signs on the pavement in busy areas have worked really well. Also I was able to cut a deal with our coffee shops on campus. Now any coffee ordered has a sticker of our group exercise schedule on it.

@Belmont export and filter it by graduation year is probably best way to get year end numbers by class right now. Takes a bit longer, but it's still relatively quick.

@Myers Since I use imleagues for Group Exercise and Outdoor Recreations would it be possible to generate a report that separates all Group exercise classes and all of Outdoor Recreational trips as a whole rather than separating them individually? Thanks.

Hey I just wanted to check and see how other universities were utilizing imleagues.com for club sports. This past year we only really utilized it for club members to sign up and sign a waiver to be cleared to participate. Also if a student signed up – it gave our club coaches a chance to know that another student was interested in joining the team. Anyways just wanted to see other ideas out there. Thanks!

Right now we've named the group exercise tab "Group X & Outdoor Recreations" since I want imleagues.com to be our one-stop-shop recreations (IMs, club sports, Group X, outdoor Rec) but it would be much easier participation wise if both were separate, mainly for tracking participation numbers and messaging. Thanks!

@White each day we send out a matchup list. Most of our IMs run between 4 PM-11PM pending on the sport. All of our captains have a phone/email list of opposing teams. If a team can't field a roster, they need to email/text myself and the opposing team captain by 2 PM. If they do this, then I will reschedule the game (if we have the space). If they contact myself and opposing team after 2 PM then it is considered a forfeit. If they don't show-up without contacting anyone we either boot them out of the league or they are on IM probation (if it happens again they are out).

Strong believer in not charging for intramurals. If your department needs money I'd look for other avenues such as sponsorships or using companies such as ACIS. If you have to charge, I'd allow first year students free or first semester free. Typically if they try out intramurals and enjoy it, they will stay within the program.
