Is there any plan in place to move the calendar feature away from the .ics file export towards something that would update automatically as your games do?

The export feature is great, but I feel like those who aren't aware won't notice changes on IMLeagues if they are only paying attention to the calendar, which is subject to becoming inaccurate as soon as something changes on IMLeagues.

I think putting in the effort to have the calendars be able to be subscribed to would increase the value of that feature by so much, and I can definitely see organizations (including my own) really advertising it to their participants and making it known.

Thanks for hearing me out!

When you enable package pricing as an option, a student will have to make a choice when registering a team or joining a team. They will have the option to purchase the package OR just pay for the individual sport they are joining. It is my understanding (please someone correct me if I am wrong) that the season pass will mark that student as "paid" in the system for all selected events within the date range created on the package. A student who pays for just one sport is only marked as paid for that sport. That student will not be given unlimited access.

I think IM Leagues should require every participant to update their current status each time they register for a sport. That would fix the problem, so long as their updated status didn't skew the participation data for prior leagues they participated in.

Students who first registered as freshman were still be listed as freshman three years later. We have alumni members who first registered as students but never updated their status to alumni. I know there is the key in the settings where you do Freshman and then choose the number of years but I'm guess we might not operate it properly to get accurate data.

Any thoughts of adding an outdoor recreations tab in the future? Similar what is available for group exercise classes with a calendar and the ability to signup for trips or events. Right now we've named the group exercise tab "Group X & Outdoor Recreations" since I want imleagues.com to be our one-stop-shop recreations (IMs, club sports, Group X, outdoor Rec) but it would be much easier participation wise if both were separate, mainly for tracking participation numbers and messaging. Thanks!

While at the national tournament this weekend we wanted to sort rosters (on the live score sheet section) to appear in numerical order of jersey number rather than alphabetically. We used the "Roster Order Button" which worked, but it was a very slow process. Once in the roster order menu jersey numbers to not show up only last name. Is there a way to add a button to sort numerically? Or make sure add jersey numbers to the information pulled into the screen so sorting does not take two screens or comparing a paper list to the tablet.

It is only visible in the league in which it is created. However, teams can see their game schedule on their team page regardless of where the bracket was created. A recent update allows teams to see a link to their bracket from the team page, but not sure if this includes brackets created in other leagues.

Ethnicity and Race
Domestic vs International student
Household Income
First Generation Student?
GPA
Other campus involvement, such as club leadership, employment, etc.
Varsity Athlete? If so, what sport?
Which dorm/hall they are apart of?

Since each campus is very different, it would be great to have custom registration questions that administrators can set up. Then, administrators can pull participation data based on those questions. So, I could have a question that asks what country a student is from, and then in the participation statistics, I could see that 85% of IM students are from the US and 3% are from China, etc.

Lastly, our campus wants students to be able to list "other" and "prefer not to answer" on gender. Is there a way to allow that?

We were looking at this option for captains that do not attend an in-person captain's meeting to have to take a more extensive quiz before they would be allowed to play in their first game. Hopefully this would help alleviate some of the more common issues, especially when adding new sports that haven't been done before at a school.

DiStefano

Reschedule Request Deadline

While I agree that it would be a great way to keep students aware of policies, this could be something that you address with captains during the captain meeting. For example, our policies at Colorado Mesa state that reschedule requests must be made in writing (via email) no later than 24 hours before the scheduled game time.

Now to be honest, if I do have the staffing and facility availability, I might try to move games to help the students, but if I am unable to due to other tasks, they know the request will be denied.

Keeping the students responsible for adhering to your program policies is a headache sometimes, but it's important to teach them that there are rules and regs for everything they do!

Hope that helps!
