My school has always done Captains Meetings the Thursday before a league starts. I've noticed a captains quiz and that a lot of schools don't do captains meetings. Does anybody use this feature? If so, how does it work? Is it successful for you? Thanks!

Since we are a big time commuter school, we never had a good turn out with these meetings. I went to these quizzes and I like them a lot. I outline all of our important policies regarding intramurals. I then outline the important sport specific rules. This way, I know the captains can't say they didn't know that rule because I know they took the quiz. I also do participant quizzes when they sign up on a team. These aren't as long or as detailed, but they still allow me to point out certain rules and policies that I know can become issues during the season. I think it has done real well for us. I know this past fall we had a lot less teams show up to flag football with pockets than in previous years!
