I'm new to the forum so if this is one of those touchy forums where people yell at you for formatting issues, etc. just let me know and I'll fix it next time I post.

Anyways, just wondering if there was any plans on the table to export players' individual events to calendars (especially Google Calendar),

I know that if I could automatically sync my games (and their details) with my calendar it would be a huge help, especially for games that change times or get cancelled, etc. As an admin I can see that really cutting down on miscommunication as well.

Also, would it be feasible to do the same thing for referees? I have to go 3rd-party for scheduling my refs, which is okay, but automatic is better (obviously).

Thanks in advance for the help. Learned a lot about IMLeagues this year and I'm absolutely in love with the software. It's really well-made.

Is there any plan in place to move calendar feature away from the .ics file export towards something that would update automatically when your games do?

The export feature is great, but I feel like those who aren't aware won't notice changes on IMLeagues if they are only paying attention to the calendar, which is subject to becoming inaccurate as soon as something changes on IMLeagues.

Thanks again.

We do have a way for members of a team or refs to export their calendars. To do this they can go to their playercard/profile page (the page they log into) then click the "Events" tab in the center and on the calendar below is an export button.

I do want to add many additional exports in the future which should be implemented over the summer, but this might help your refs right now.

Best!

One answer we found to this problem is just to recommend our participants download the Rec*IT app (Android & Apple app stores). The app gives them the option to save their games to their calendar, and the app also sends them notifications about their games. Also i know you can export your calendar to Outlook from the individuals profile after clicking on the events tab.
