Team fee Vs Individual fee

Last year at NIRSA I went to a presentation about charging each participant X ($10) amount per semester or X ($15) for a package deal for the year. This fee will allow you to participate in every sport with 1 or 2 exceptions (Golf/Bowling/anything that an outside vendor needs to be paid).

I was wondering what schools are using individual fees and what pros and cons they have had.
