We have actually gone away from pinnies/jerseys for sports such as soccer and flag football. Instead, we instruct our teams that the home team on IM Leagues will wear white and the away team will wear any other color, not including gray. We also encourage our participants that if they have team jerseys/shirts that they've made for the season, that they communicate this information to the opposing captain.

If we have teams that show up and are wearing the same color, we do have some pinnies in two different colors available for them. They aren't anything special, but are a crop-top pinnie that sits well above the waist and away from the flag belts.

We have done this very successfully with little confusion between the teams. Making the move to having teams wear matching colored shirts has allowed us to save time and money on washing and replacing dirty, torn, or stolen jerseys.
