I have thought about implementing this in our upcoming league in the Spring semester. My initial thoughts based on our rules would be it would go in effect at either the 1-minute or 2-minute mark of the second half. Not sure if I would put a +10 to the score or shorten it to like a +5 or +8. I would still keep in effect the sportsmanship rules if any are currently in place to keep the clock running or end the game after game has reached a 20-30 point spread.

I would be interested in hearing other thoughts. I think we are going to do it no matter what and experiment with it since my leagues will be small anyways. Might test it out in our upcoming 3v3 League as an experiment toward the end of the league play.
