We are looking to purchase some new vests/pinnies, particularly for flag football and soccer. The pinnies we have used in the past sometimes do not make it more than a season or two because they are ripped apart (hence, a lot of holding penalties are called). Does any other institutions have recommendations on brands or places to buy more dependable pinnies? In the past, we have bought the lightweight scrimmage vests (numbered) from BSN Sports. I want to invest in something with some thicker fabric, and if possible, with the bottom seam above the waist, in hopes that it won't interfere with any defenders attempting to pull flag belts. If you have any recommendations, please send them our way. Thanks!

Intramural Vests/Pinnies

We have actually gone away from pinnies/jerseys for sports such as soccer and flag football. Instead, we instruct our teams that the home team on IM Leagues will wear white and the away team will wear any other color, not including gray. We also encourage our participants that if they have team jerseys/shirts that they've made for the season, that they communicate this information to the opposing captain.
If we have teams that show up and are wearing the same color, we do have some pinnies in two different colors available for them. They aren't anything special, but are a crop-top pinnie that sits well above the waist and away from the flag belts.
We have done this very successfully with little confusion between the teams. Making the move to having teams wear matching colored shirts has allowed us to save time and money on washing and replacing dirty, torn, or stolen jerseys.

I have had very good luck with the linked pinnies. The numbers even help if you staff does not know who some on might be. They have held up over a year now.

The pinnies linked by the person above me are made by Kwik Goal but they literally have a lifetime guarantee on them. The initial cost likely pays for that guarantee.
There's also a company called EpicSports.com that has blank jerseys for low cost. A single mesh basketball jersey is about $4-5. and reversible run about $7-8. Screen printing is relatively cheap as well.
