Here at SFA we use a few different methods of promoting our sports and activities. In our rec center we have tons of posters and signs, while else where on campus we pass out flyers and handbills. We also promote lightly through twitter. I was wondering if anyone maybe had some techniques for promo that they have found to be most successful? What are some other ways your sports are promoted?

@Hunley besides the traditional methods, Sidewalk signs on the pavement in busy areas have worked really well. Also I was able to cut a deal with our coffee shops on campus. Now any coffee ordered has a sticker of our group exercise schedule on it.

We have a copy center on campus. Our department pays for any promotion items we get from there. They design and print what we want. We do anything from, flyers, handbills, Fatheads, Yard signs, banners ect.

We also are heavy on instagram. Anyone who participates in any of our events, we ask them to follow us on our social media outlets. Any upcoming events, scores, scheduling, and event photos are updated daily. One of our events actually went viral and was at 1.2 mil views on facebook
