Thanks for the post. We are actually in the process of revamping this entire participant stats area!
If everyone could post their wish list for stats we'll use the feedback to make the area as best as we possibly can!

Since on our campus, we do many of our sports by hall, it would be great if we could see hall participation separated as well. Also, since students change halls so often, if they had to update their hall each year, that would be great.
Parsing out Playoffs and Regular Season stats would be helpful (an option to combine them for smaller activities and to separate them out perhaps for others).
yes date range parameters would be great!
@Tse We just enabled the ability to choose specific date ranges with regards to participation stats. It is located in the dropdown at the top of the page. Please let us know if you encounter any bugs or quirks with it.
Thanks!
Doug
Urgent: Tell us the participation reports you build!
We want to make as many participation reports as we can be automatically generated.
We want everyone looking forward to the end of the year where they can tell their bosses that generating the reports is a 2 day painstaking process and then just hit one button on IMLeagues and be all set. Then kick back and enough the nice weather!
So please everyone give us all the different reports that you need. Heck you can even attach examples of ones that you have created. The more info we have the better!
Thanks everyone.
I would like to see a report on new sign-ups for the semester/year.
Specific date range would be great, but also by year/class and gender as well. We do reports on a number of different categories that are not accessible currently and I have to do by hand: gender, indoor/outdoor, year/class, number of teams per sport, as examples.
How does the sight determine when to change students from freshmen to sophomore. The ability to set a date for when this happens each year would be helpful for reporting when looking at retention numbers of students involved in Intramurals.
We were recently going over our stats and thought it would be extremely helpful to us, if we could separate individuals into other categories such as Greek-life. It would be nice if individual's when they sign-up can register as a member of Greek life and when we look at our statistics we can separate them from other participants, so that even if they are not playing on their fraternity / sorority we can still track that data.
@horton That would be nice. Maybe even an option for them to select if they are on multiple teams which one is greek life so we can keep their stats separate for teams
Things that our administration wants to know include:
Ethnicity and Race
Domestic vs International student
Household Income
First Generation Student?
GPA
Other campus involvement, such as club leadership, employment, etc.
Varsity Athlete? If so, what sport?
Which dorm/hall they are apart of?
Since each campus is very different, it would be great to have custom registration questions that administrators can set up. Then, administrators can pull participation data based on those questions. So, I could have a question that asks what country a student is from, and then in the participation statistics, I could see that 85% of IM students are from the US and 3% are from China, etc.
Lastly, our campus wants students to be able to list "other" and "prefer not to answer" on gender. Is there a way to allow that?
